“The trip was very successful, everything ran extremely smoothly. The hotel was fantastic, as was the food (meals and packed lunches). All of the business visits were very good and useful. The guides, Sonya and Sue, were very helpful. Thank you so much for all your hard work, it was a great trip. We look forward to planning our next trip with you - possibly France.
Mrs Greene, Head of Business Studies
“Yet again it was all a huge success, and we’ll soon be getting the ball rolling on the arrangements for next year’s trip! All the visits were really good and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The hotel knows us now and they look after us so well. Once again thank you so much on behalf of us all for making it a fantastic trip.”
Mrs Doyle, Head of MFL
“Thank you for another very successful trip to Spain. This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for most of the children to see such original pieces of art and to experience this at fi rst hand. The Gaudi buildings were absolutely fascinating, and the Salvadore Dalí Museum, always a fi rm favourite, was as stunning as ever. Everyone loved the contemporary works at the Joan Miro Museum and the Picasso collection, and the FC Barcelona Nou Camp stadium visit went down very well!”
Mrs Preston, Head of Art
“We just got back from the Paris & Ypres tour, and I have to say that once again you’ve done a remarkable job. Without your itinerary and organization, and without the superb coach drivers, taking 70 children on this activity could have been an absolute disaster. As it was, everybody had a great time and the teachers all felt that our pupils had learnt some important things. This is the ideal activity, with the right balance of entertainment and cultural broadening of the mind.”
Mr Armstrong, English Dept.
“The hostel was ideal for our kids. It was friendly, clean, warm and well placed, and the staff attended to our every need. Breakfast was lovely, as was the packed lunch, which was huge. On the coach journey to Auschwitz, our guide played a video about the camps, which prepared the kids well for their visit. Auschwitz is a good visit to do as it fulfils a number of key areas of the course curriculum. Next year, I think we would like to spend a little longer visiting the camps. All the staff said how good the organization was and how impressive your attention to detail was. Thanks again.”
Mrs Crawley, History & Citizenship
“Our trip to Normandy was as fabulous as ever, and the children love staying at the gîte, it’s like a second home to us now. The combination of French lessons with all the visits suits us very well. Having the guides with us on the coach makes it all the more relaxing for us. Thanks very much for all you wonderful organisation with this years visit.”
Mrs James, History Dept.
“It was a great trip – no problems at all, and the kids all had a great time. The hostel was of a really good standard and within easy walking distance of everything in the city centre. The meal swap at the Hard Rock Café worked out really well, and everyone enjoyed the evening. Many thanks for all your help in organising it!”
Mr Etherington, MFL Dept.
“Including the two Disney Parks again this year was a very good idea and it was just great seeing the children enjoy themselves. The meal swaps at the Disney Village worked really well, which meant that the group could spend some free time on both evenings relaxing in a safe environment.”
Mr Sharma, Head of Maths
“I did want to let you know how well the trip went, and to say how impressed all the staff were by the superb organisation on your part. All the visits ran smoothly and were enjoyed by all. The coach drivers were first class, always on time, helpful, safe drivers and good with our pupils. So, once again, many thanks for your superb organisation. The pupils had a wonderful trip which they will always remember.”
